A new exhibition opening at the Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac is co-curated by Effie Rentzou (French and Italian), director of the Humanities Council’s Program in European Cultural Studies.
The exhibition, titled “Objects – Ways of Seeing,” opens on February 11 and runs through June 22, 2025. It “explores the crossroads between surrealism, ethnology, and archaeology in France during the interwar period (1919-1939),” according to the museum’s website.
In 2024, Rentzou was awarded the title of Chevalier in l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques, a prestigious decoration awarded by the French Government honoring contributions to culture and the arts.
