The West: A New History: A Conversation with David Bell and Tony Grafton

How can one tell the story of “the West” to increasingly diverse student bodies, in a world where global interconnections are making themselves felt so forcefully? How does one tell the story in a compelling and comprehensible manner, that will help students understand the world they are inheriting? And at the same time, how are we to do some justice to the multiple ways in which societies and civilizations have always been entangled? Please join the conversation about these and other important questions facing scholars and students of European history today.
