Carolina Malagon received her B.A. in German Studies from Yale University and her M.A. in German Literature from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. At Princeton, she has completed a certificate in History of Science and taught German and German philosophy. Her dissertation concerns the chemistry of the Romantic period and ties between chemical commitments and literary form. Major interests include: history and philosophy of science; poetics of knowledge; practices of reading; lyric poetry; formalism; pedagogy; the small form and fragmentation.
