Chloé Vettier is a third-year PhD candidate in the department of French and Italian.
She graduated from La Sorbonne (Paris, France) with a BA and a MA in French Literature, and has done research on writing and reading madness in Simone de Beauvoir’s and Antonin Artaud’s works. She is currently interested in shame and confessional writing. Her research interests also include philosophy and literature, history of science and affect studies.
