Joshua Judd Porter is a senior in the Department of German and is pursuing a certificate in European Cultural Studies. His thesis, advised by Devin Fore, is on Ernst Jünger and the rhetorics and aesthetics of reaction in the late Wilhelmine and Weimar periods, with a tentative focus on photography, physiognomy, and German colonialism. On-campus, he is a senior editor for the Nassau Weekly. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies and bicycling.
