Princeton senior Pia Sarah Haykel has been awarded the Michel David-Weill Scholarship to pursue a two-year master’s program at Sciences Po in Paris, France.
The scholarship is awarded each year to one American student based on “academic accomplishments and capacity for critical analysis as well as demonstrated history of leadership and a proven commitment to community,” according to the Sciences Po website.
Haykel is a history major pursuing a certificate the Humanities Council’s Program in European Cultural Studies and a minor in Persian language. At Sciences Po, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in history.
